A superb find! While visiting La Rochelle, we discovered this little Japanese restaurant and were delighted! The food is truly delicious, and the fish is fresh. I had sashimi and my wife had skewers. The food was cooked to order and was excellent. Furthermore, the welcome was very warm; the owners are exceptionally kind. Thank you for this wonderful meal!

We just had a wonderful family meal at Sakura! It brought back memories of my first time there 15 years ago. The fish is still as fresh and tender as ever. It's a pleasure to dine in a traditional Japanese restaurant that truly showcases the quality of the ingredients! The presentation was beautiful and the welcome very warm. We come all the way from Saint Jean d’Angély just to go to Sakura! The welcome is always so friendly, and we love chatting with them. The sushi's reputation speaks for itself. I find the same ones I loved in Japan. A beautiful slice of tender fish, the kind you rarely see here!

Excellent traditional cuisine, bursting with flavor. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. A very warm welcome. After trying the sushi, we sampled the Japanese hot pot, and it was a delight. I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. Finally, something other than the usual salmon/tuna combination! It's incredibly fresh, incredibly delicious, and for such quality, the bill is quite reasonable. The service is really good.

I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant. The dishes are of excellent quality, very fresh, and carefully prepared. Authentic flavors and beautiful presentation are evident in every plate. The service is pleasant and attentive, and the restaurant has a calm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal of excellent Japanese cuisine.

One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to! The sushi and maki are made fresh to order, they have a variety of fish, not just salmon and tuna, all very fresh, and the dishes are very authentic, served with pickled radish, among other things. The miso soup was also incredible; I've never tasted one so good! On top of that, the owners were absolutely lovely ❤️
