Welcome to Zèbre, where you'll find dishes and flavors you won't find anywhere else. They offer excellent vegetarian options and a great set menu. The chef expertly prepares fish, meat, and vegetables. The staff is helpful and offers good advice. The welcome is always warm and pleasant.

A well-run restaurant tucked away from the city center, well worth the detour. The cuisine is flavorful with expertly balanced seasonings, where you can truly taste the chef's care and attention to detail in every dish. That lunchtime, we enjoyed a meltingly tender eggplant parmigiana with a perfectly seasoned tomato sauce and halloumi cheese. The dessert, a chocolate mille-feuille, was beautifully balanced with an airy mousse and just the right amount of sweetness. Excellent service. We'll definitely return to explore this cuisine further, perhaps over dinner.

A real treat. We came with friends for lunch. The food is excellent, a small menu featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients. The welcome, the service, the wine recommendations, the quality and presentation of the dishes—everything was truly superb. At this price, you won't find better in La Rochelle. A must-try.

Fantastic food. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The food was of the highest quality. The service was also excellent and very attentive. Unfortunately, we only discovered the restaurant on our last day in La Rochelle; otherwise, we would have eaten there every day. Highly recommended.

While on holiday in La Rochelle, we discovered this little restaurant quite by chance. The menu looked appealing, and we weren't disappointed. The welcome was very pleasant, the food excellent, and the prices quite reasonable. A great place to spend a pleasant time and enjoy delicious food. Don't hesitate to go in.

Spectacular value for creative food served with care and pride. We have been coming to le Zèbre for the past three years and they have maintained their standards in every way. This family-run restaurant makes the most of their only-on-Fridays dinner service with thoughtful, well executed prix-fixe menu highlighting seasonal ingredients in sophisticated but not too fussy preparations. Simple, clean surroundings set the tone for the straight-forward attitude that seems to put guests in an easy and friendly mood.

I was invited... but what a lovely surprise for my first time! The welcome was truly warm from the moment we arrived; we immediately felt at ease. The dishes were refined, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. I absolutely loved the chocolate dessert—a real treat! The prices are quite reasonable for the quality offered, which is much appreciated. And what's more, the Chef/Owner came to greet us—a small detail that really makes a difference. Honestly, I have nothing to complain about; everything went perfectly. I highly recommend it. Remember to book ahead; it's best. Open for lunch Monday through Friday, and also for dinner on Friday.
