A quick family break for coffee on the terrace. Cold welcome… the feeling of being a nuisance… In short, it worked because you quickly drink your coffee and leave the table.

No smiles, tourist trap atmosphere. Outrageous prices; we paid €3.50 for syrup drinks with water... We asked for a carafe of water afterwards, and they brought us a mediocre little glass. Avoid at all costs!!!

We had lunch on November 11th at noon. The welcome was friendly, but after discovering a maggot in the burrata of the Italian salad and the lack of response from the staff, I can only advise against going there. My pasta with clams tasted like water. In short, avoid this place for the quality, the service, and the price…

Unfortunately, I also fell for this typical tourist trap. The ambiance with its harbor view is inviting. The food is below average, but the service is sometimes exceptionally unfriendly. Any other restaurant in La Rochelle is a better choice.

Excessively expensive and bad

The staff is very unfriendly, condescending, and not afraid to be unpleasant. Very expensive for what it is. The pizzas are very sparsely topped and not worth the price at all. One star for the view from the terrace. I absolutely do not recommend it!

Long wait (very long), disappointing food, expensive (very expensive)

This restaurant is absolutely to be avoided. The service is mediocre at best, but the worst part is what's on your plate! Nothing good, neither the fish nor the meat! There's a wide selection on the menu, but it's easy to see why... the quality is terrible! And the price is still high for such a mediocre meal!

Keep walking! There are much nicer restaurants opposite the two towers!

Avoid this restaurant if you're looking for quality, local food. Overpriced for a quality that doesn't live up to expectations. - The rillettes: not great, especially considering we're right by the sea. - The pizzas: not enough toppings. - The pasta: not very good. - The foie gras: expensive and too small. - Overall atmosphere: stressful and unfriendly towards customers, which is a shame. The crepes were nice. I'm giving it two stars for the ambiance and decor.

Hello, The restaurant's service was quite good, hence the stars. The cheese pizza was also decent, but nothing special (around €15, which is expensive considering the quality), and then the lasagna... burnt, overcooked... (also €15). So I simply stated our opinion and we left, as I'm not one to make a fuss. The view, however, is perfect.

Too expensive for what it is. You're mainly paying for the location and the view. The pasta was very good, but not worth €19 either.

Cold welcome, always watching you, 2 hours to eat pasta and lasagne that were nothing like Italian food... and the price is outrageous (125 for 4 people without aperitifs or alcohol) - avoid at all costs.
