IT - Italian Trattoria La Rochelle

This was an absolute disgrace 😤! I'm attempting to give a zero star here, if that works. The word Trattoria is not apt to be used here. There was no customer service and no one to explain how the ordering system works. A lot of choices but not clear how they all work for/in a dish. Adding vegetable meant it's all mashed into the pasta. That does not work! I thought food was terrible. We ordered a few plates of pasta. Its not difficult to cook pasta well! Too much pasta in one dish and they are not well cooked. Some overcooked bits and some are sticky. Sauces were not what I expected and some are bland. Ingredients are sub-par, especially if you're charging about >15euros. Guanciale looked more like sliced bacon. Empty plates and drinks just left on the bar counter. I'm shocked by the other reviews giving 5 stars about how good the food is. Are we just being very unlucky?

I like the concept and the good food

Nice concept, ordering yourself at an ordering kiosk. Friendly lady who assists and explains how it works. The meal wasn't great. Pasta Pollo was good, but too sticky. The Carbonara Tartufo was dry with overcooked beef pancetta. No, not a second time.

Honestly, it's magnificent.

It's great, the staff are lovely, the decor is beautiful, you feel a bit like you're in Italy, I recommend this little restaurant, you leave feeling very satisfied!

Excellent pizzas and pasta. Very good service. Little waiting time.

Honestly, they're welcoming and friendly, the food is good, the atmosphere is great, and a big shout-out to Marine!
